Lauren, founder and owner of Empire Within, works with people of all ages and backgrounds to draw out their inner beauty and style and help improve their overall well-being. She has over 10 years experience in image consulting, including several years working as a Personal Shopper for a major department store as well as studying inner growth and transformation independently and through the Fireheart Institute and Sancta Sophia Seminary. She also completed modeling school, competed in several scholarship pageants, winning 1st Runner-Up, and is a professional musician. Lauren has strong communication skills and a sixth sense when it comes to people’s personal styles and tastes.  One of her greatest assets is the ability to energize and encourage people.  She immediately puts others as ease.  Her instinctive and innate abilities feed her passion to help people look their best, feel more confident and, ultimately, achieve their personal and professional life goals. 

Lauren recently went through her own transformational period that re-sculpted her entire being.  It is from this place that she discovered her own inner gifts and developed a passion to help others navigate their own transformational journeys. Her goal is to assist them in bettering their lives – bringing color into what otherwise might be a grey existence.  Lauren is a women’s advocate that believes in the power and healing capacity of the feminine spirit. 

I will start this with a story. Last winter I spent an entire afternoon at Mall of America going into every store that sold jeans with the mission of finding a pair that would fit and was attractive. Price was not even a concern. 5 hours later I returned home with nothing but tears and frustration. Shopping for clothes is not something I enjoy. Actually I hate. Then comes this wonderful women, Lauren Johnson, from Empire Within. I cannot believe how much I got out of my time with Lauren. She started with my closet and found many outfits that looked good and that I already owned! I loved the compliments I received when I went out! Then Lauren had me meet her at Macy's. Within an hour, she found a whole wardrobe for me - AND it was fun! Everything she found looked good and fit, which was a new experience for me. This include 2 pairs of jeans that fit and made my butt look good! In addition the clothes that she picked out go with the clothes I already own. I even got a new all season suit! And the price I paid for the clothes - the jeans each cost only $17 a pair - a number of the high quality shirts were only $12, the suit was under $70 and everything that I bought was ALL ON SALE! Lauren,  I followed the advice you had given me pre-photo shoot confirming that turquoise or blue would be good choice for my coloring. Thanks also for sharing that a V-neck line would work best for my face and neck. With these tips, I was able to simply pull the shirt and necklace out of the wardrobe I already have.
